St. Joseph's National School is a two teacher, co-educational Primary School. It is located between Ballyfarnon and Boyle in the Parish of Highwood. The school was established in 1932 and the new building was officially opened in 2007. Ms. O'Hara is the Junior Classes teacher (Junior Infants- Second Class) and Mr. Campbell is the Principal and teaches the Senior Classes ( Third- Sixth Class). The school has fantastic facilities with an all weather play area, basketball court, an adventure playground, an all weather football pitch as well as a grass football pitch and play area.
